We collect information you provide when creating a MostRent account, managing properties, or communicating on the platform. This includes contact details (name, email, phone), property specifications (unit numbers, addresses, amenities), lease agreements, tenant roster details, financial records (rent amounts, payment transactions), and technical telemetry (IP addresses, browser type, device information).

We process personal and property information to deliver our core SaaS services: automating lease lifecycles, processing rent collection, managing maintenance requests, generating financial statements, authenticating platform access, and preventing unauthorized access or fraud. We do not sell your personal data or property records to third parties.

We share data only with verified enterprise infrastructure providers necessary to operate the platform, such as secure cloud storage (Cloudflare R2), payment processors for automated rent collection, transactional email services, and government or legal entities when required by lawful court orders or binding regulatory requirements.

All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and at rest with AES-256 encryption. We enforce logical multi-tenant database isolation to prevent cross-organization access. Property and tenant records are retained as long as your workspace remains active, or as mandated by statutory financial and real estate record-keeping laws.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, request corrections to inaccurate records, request data portability/export in standard formats (CSV, JSON), or request complete account erasure subject to legal lease retention obligations. MostRent utilizes essential authentication cookies to keep you securely signed in, functional cookies to store your display and language preferences (such as light/dark mode and active language), and privacy-preserving performance telemetry to ensure application stability and fast page rendering.
